About Program

The DevOps for AEM Training offered by myTectra is designed to help professionals gain a comprehensive understanding of implementing DevOps practices in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments. The course covers the complete lifecycle — from code integration and automated testing to continuous deployment and monitoring of AEM applications.

Participants will learn how to leverage Adobe Cloud Manager, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes to streamline AEM deployment workflows. The training emphasizes CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automation, and performance optimization specific to AEM as a Cloud Service and On-Premise setups.

By the end of this training, learners will have the technical expertise to automate and manage AEM environments efficiently, ensuring high availability, scalability, and faster release cycles.

Participants should have:

  • Basic understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) concepts (author/publish instances, dispatcher).
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Working knowledge of Linux commands, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
  • Prior experience with AEM development or system administration is beneficial but not mandatory.

Module 2: AEM Architecture & Environment Setup

  • Review of AEM instances: Author, Publish, Dispatcher
  • Understanding AEM environments (Development, Stage, Production)
  • Setting up Local AEM Instances for DevOps testing
  • Integrating AEM with Git, Maven, and Package Manager
  • Deployment workflows and environment promotion
