About Program

The Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Training by myTectra provides a comprehensive understanding of Informatica’s next-generation cloud-based data integration and management platform. This course helps learners gain hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud data integration solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Participants will master Data Integration, Application Integration, API Management, and Cloud Data Quality capabilities using Informatica IICS. The training also focuses on real-world use cases such as data migration to cloud warehouses (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) and hybrid integration across SaaS and on-premise applications.

This course prepares you for the Informatica IICS Certified Professional exam and equips you with the practical skills needed to automate, optimize, and govern enterprise data pipelines in the cloud.

  • Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data integration
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL) and data warehousing fundamentals
  • Experience with any ETL tool (optional but beneficial)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is an advantage

  • Introduction to Data Integration Service (CDI)
  • Components of IICS Data Integration
  • Source, Target, and Transformation concepts
  • Creating and managing mappings in IICS
  • Data synchronization and mapping tasks
  • Lab: Designing your first mapping in IICS

Module 4: Advanced Mapping and Transformation Design

  • Working with Expression, Filter, Router, Aggregator, and Joiner transformations
  • Lookup, Update, and Sequence Generator transformations
  • Parameterization and reusable transformations
  • Taskflows and advanced mapping concepts
  • Lab: Creating parameterized mappings for dynamic workflows

Module 5: Taskflows and Workflow Orchestration

  • Overview of Taskflows (Linear and Non-linear)
  • Designing sequential and parallel taskflows
  • Decision, Jump, and Assignment steps
  • Error handling and notification configuration
  • Lab: Designing a reusable taskflow for data loading

Module 6: Application Integration (CAI)

  • Understanding IICS Application Integration
  • Creating and managing processes and APIs
  • Real-time integration and event-driven processing
  • Working with process objects, service connectors, and process orchestration
  • Lab: Building a real-time API-driven integration

Module 7: Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)

  • Introduction to Data Quality in IICS
  • Profiling, parsing, standardization, and data validation
  • Address validation and enrichment
  • Building data quality rules and scorecards
  • Lab: Creating and executing a data quality mapping

Module 8: API and Application Integration Management

  • Creating REST and SOAP APIs in IICS
  • Managing API Gateways and security policies
  • API deployment and lifecycle management
  • Integrating external applications (Salesforce, Workday, SAP, etc.)
